Pam Davidson

Pam Davidson specialises in taxation law and litigation though she also practises in public and administrative law, trusts and estate litigation and general civil litigation. She is available to be briefed to provide opinions and advice as well as undertake litigation at first instance or on appeal.

Pam has been a barrister sole since 1996 and holds a Master of Laws with 2nd class (first division) Honours from Victoria University of Wellington.

Previously, she has worked at the Inland Revenue Department, in a large law firm as a senior solicitor in their tax department, and as a advisor in tax policy at New Zealand Treasury. She was admitted to the Bar in 1983.

Pam has also been active within the legal profession and in law society affairs and was President of the Wellington District Law Society from 2004 to 2006. Pam was a reporter for the New Zealand Law Reports between 2012 and 2014 and is the author of Taxation of Property Transactions in New Zealand, published by Thomson Reuters in October 2016.

Born in Malaysia, Pam speaks Chinese (Hokkien) and Bahasa Malaysia.
